20-22 April 2018
CraftAlive heads to Newcastle for the very first time from the 20th to 22th of April at the Newcastle Racecourse! Join us for 3 days of learning, creating, shopping, and inspiration! Get hands on with the experts with two jam packed workshops areas featuring card making, new patchwork techniques and more. There is something for the whole family with local and national exhibitors. Shop until you drop with plenty to try and buy, and don’t forget to stop for a bite to eat at our fantastic cafe.
Take part in all things handmade and chic with Amy Kallissa as she bridges the gap between the traditional foundations and modern design of all things sewing and patchwork. Amy will be running classes all weekend featuring her exclusive CraftAlive designs “Sew Clutch” and “Lets Face It”!
Learn from the brilliant and fun Mandy of Sew Quirky! Three classes will run each day, all featuring a different Sew Quirky original design. Learn all the tips and tricks behind beautiful machine embroidery.
The inspiring Quilt of Hope display will be a feature at the show, with colourful quilts made by generous ladies on display. Quilts of Hope calls on generous quilters and patchworkers to donate their time and supplies to make a quilt or block so we can support children living with cancer. If you would like to be involved, pick up a kit at the show or learn more at www.quiltsofhope.com.au.
