Description

CraftAlive  is in  Canberra for 4 big days.

CraftAlive Canberra proudly presents Canberra Quilters Inc Annual Members Exhibition.

CraftAlive features both local and interstate craft experts, and as a leading craft fair Canberra event, the show is packed full of the latest craft supplies, kits and equipment.

CraftAlive  is a hands-on event. A chance to learn from world class specialists with interactive classes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Class bookings are day and time specific. We recommend booking ahead to secure your spot.

Please note, entry tickets are not day specific.

 

 

 

 

Free Parking

Exhibition Park in Canberra has ample car parking available onsite for events, including designated car parks, building forecourts and grassed areas.

Public Transport

There are a number of public bus routes that service EPIC.

For the latest timetable information, check the Transport Canberra website – http://www.transport.act.gov.au/

There is also a taxi pick-up and drop-off area located at the main entrance gates off Flemington Road. To contact Canberra Cabs, call 132227.

Light Rail

For entry to EPIC from the EPIC & Racecourse Light rail stop on Flemington Road walk towards Northbourne Avenue and cross with the traffic lights at Gate 2. Light rail will be will be operational during each day of the event.

Light rail schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday from 6am – 11.30pm
  • Friday from 6am – Saturday 1am
  • Saturday from 6am –  Sunday 1am
  • Sunday and Public Holidays from 8am – 11.30pm.

Services will run:

  • during peak times from Monday to Friday (services will run every 6 minutes)
  • between peak times from Monday to Friday (services will run every 10 minutes)
  • outside peak times from Monday to Friday (services will run every 10–15 minutes)
  • on Saturdays and Sundays (services will run at 15 minute intervals throughout the day).

Entry tickets are available online and at the door.

We recommend purchasing online for express entry.

Classes are available to book online, and seats are limited.

Online class bookings close on the evening before the doors open. BUT you can still book classes in person at the event directly with the teacher (if spots are still available.)

Lost or forgotten your online ticket? That’s ok. Simply come to the front desk on arrival and we can search for your name and transaction. What’s most important to us is fast entry so you can enjoy the event.

Yes we accept companion cards. No need to purchase a ticket for your companion, just your own concession ticket. Then show your companion card at the front desk for free access.

Entry tickets are non-refundable.

Need a break from the action? Visit the CraftAlive café to re-fuel.

Located within the event. Serving hot and cold food including soup, sandwiches, toasties, cakes and more. Hot coffee, tea and soft drinks
