Public Transport

The Brisbane Showgrounds is in close proximity to numerous public transport options.

TRAIN
Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the Brisbane Showgrounds.

CraftAlive are providing a FREE SHUTTLE BUS running from Fortitude Valley train station running from 9am to 4pm. 

Shuttle stop location: The loading zone on Wickham Street opposite Warner Street.  This is about 100mtrs down from Brunswick Street.

Morning timetable departures from Fortitude Valley:

9am, 9.30am, 10am, 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12pm.

Short lunch break.

Afternoon timetable departures from Brisbane Showgrounds:

1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm.

BUS

Buses access the streets surrounding the Brisbane Showgrounds regularly. The main bus stops are located on Bowen Bridge Road outside The Old Museum and on St Pauls Terrace near King Street.

TAXI / RIDESHARE

There are taxi zones located outside Rydges Hotel and Fat Dumpling on King Street.
Rideshare companies also operate in Brisbane.

PARKING

There are three undercover parking facilities within the Brisbane Showgrounds. These are located on Gregory Terrace, O’Connell Terrance and King Street.

Entry tickets are available online and at the door.

We recommend purchasing online for express entry.

Classes are available to book online, and seats are limited.

Online class bookings close on the evening before the doors open. BUT you can still book classes in person at the event directly with the teacher (if spots are still available.)

Lost or forgotten your online ticket? That’s ok. Simply come to the front desk on arrival and we can search for your name and transaction. What’s most important to us is fast entry so you can enjoy the event.

Yes we accept companion cards. No need to purchase a ticket for your companion, just your own concession ticket. Then show your companion card at the front desk for free access.

Entry tickets are non-refundable.

Visit the event cafe for hot & cold drinks, cakes, snack and meals.
